Between College, Dovercourt and the CNR rail tracks, is Little Portugal. A residential neighborhood with a commercial thoroughfare, this neighborhood is well placed to provide an easygoing lifestyle and great access to surrounding areas. The older homes in the area are complimented by an area of new build condos between King and Queen along Sudbury. Dundas is lined with new restaurants and has TTC streetcar access. Dufferin offers accessibility to surrounding neighborhoods and the areas on Queen and College both offer transportation and are packed with commercial offerings. There are restaurants, services and retail outlets. The arts community is alive on Queen and Sudbury with galleries and liver performance and event spaces. This is a commuters community and keeping a car would be an extra expense.

Demographics

The section of Queen offers trendy restaurants cafes, unique businesses and cafes. There are a ton of options for quick casual food from independent owners and chains. There are live music venues next to latenight music shops and it’s as vibrant a strip in the morning as it is at night. There is a huge art supply store that services the local arts community. College st is equally lively although the art scene takes a back seat to the awesome food scene. Have freshly ground espresso in the morning or catch a quick cup at a chain. You can also find plenty of fresh produce markets, and portuguese butchers.
