It's also possible to enjoy the use of a car and the TTC. Situated on the north side of Eglinton bounded by the Allen in the west and Latimer in the east, it's an easy area to fall in love with. There are great schools and tons of local shopping. The pace is that of a bustling suburban town. It has outlets for all of the trendy health and beauty services as well as auto mechanics, dentists and many doctors offices. This residential area receives these services on the exterior, main streets and a quiet exists once back on the interior streets. Most of which do not have sidewalks. It is still in proximity to downtown within fifteen minutes and with the completion of the Subway line an already great are gets a real bonus.

Forest Hill is a high income neighborhood filled by owner occupied single detached homes. There are rentals and high rise buildings on the major exterior streets. If the kids need braces, you can walk to the appointments. There are excellent schools and recreational areas. As well there is a Toronto Public Library next door to the high school. If that list isn’t long enough you can be in downtown in fifteen minutes to enjoy the nightlife and theatre. It’s a driving community with highway access on the Allen.
