There is an enormous sandpit and play cottage for kids. It also has one of the few fire pits in the city. This is also where the Farmer’s market is held. The all organic market is a weekly neighborhood event, that is very well attended. If you prefer your recreation indoors, a few blocks west, on Sterling avenue there are a host of alternative fitness and sport facilities. You can play league soccer or take a gymnastics class or you can delve into world of circus arts and axe throwing.

Food Access. The concept of a food desert will be hard to imagine when you live in this utopia. Even the local No Frills, has frills, with fresh seafood and butcher counters. The prices are very competitive because there is a Walmart in the same plaza. But, if you need to balance that out, every week you’ll have your chance for fresh, local organics from the farmers. TTC Access. The Dufferin grove neighborhood is packed with so many great things that you might forget it’s on the subway line and has the streetcar on the south side.
