Queensway Terrace South is a neighbourhood in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It used to be part of Queensway Terrace but in 1967, Highway 417 was built and the area was split into Queensway Terrace North and Queensway Terrace South. The borders are to the east Southwood Dr, to the south Baseline Rd, Queensway (Highway 417) to the north and Greenbank Rd to the west.

Demographics

A mix of older, mature couples and families reside in the Queensway Terrace South neighbourhood. With their high school, trade school and college educations, many of the working adults report middle-incomes working in public service, finance and administrative jobs. Nearly all, however, are homeowners, living in single-detached homes that were built after 1960.

Queensway Terrace South has become an ideal community for families and those looking for large property lines with quiet streets.  On the west side of Pinecrest Road there are townhouses and a couple of high rise condominiums.
