Ottawa Chinatown is in the west of the downtown core, running along Somerset St  to the area of Hintonburg.  The area's most notable feature is the Ottawa Chinatown Arch, a Chinese northern-royal style with nine distinguished golden roofs covered and glazed tiles.

Strolling across Chinatown, you’ll notice bright pops of colour on windows, doors and walls. The China Doll mural paying homage to our local karaoke queen, a multicoloured panda made up of a mosaic of tiny pandas, a giant orange goldfish floating next to a horse and a turtle of the same size. In addition, you can find a multitude of spots to eat including Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese and even Peruvian.
